L'infernal et sans fin cycle de violence de Infinity Blade se poursuit dans une suite qui tout en conservant ses grands principes a réussi à améliorer son concept. Plus riche, plus brutal, le titre de Chair saura sans mal convaincre les fans du premier volet.


Le concept même d'Infinity Blade avait pour défaut de diviser catégoriquement les joueurs. Traverser les couloirs et cours d'un château pour livrer une bataille perdue d'avance jusqu'au moment où, finalement, après avoir fait progresser la lignée du héros on pouvait enfin mettre une déculottée à l'éternel, tout le monde n'aimait pas ça. Fatalement répétitif, le titre savait pourtant charmer par sa réalisation au poil et son système de combat parfaitement calibré. Pas question toutefois de se satisfaire d'une suite qui reprendrait l'idée à la lettre, ce que Chair a très bien compris. En premier lieu, Infinity Blade 2 se dote d'un scénario et on découvre que depuis le début le jeu n'a pas une multitude de héros tous descendants les uns des autres mais un seul, désormais affublé du nom de Siri. Si dans le premier volet il a finalement pu s'emparer de l'épée éternelle, Siri doit à présent mettre la main sur le Forgeron des Arcanes retenu prisonnier dans un nouveau château. Et à chaque décès, avant de repartir pour une renaissance supplémentaire, vous aurez droit à un petit indice venant éclairer l'intrigue.

Chaque table - Far West, The Deep, et le style Jungle - sont des chefs d'oeuvre.
